Hi there, here are the updates on Nicole's condition.
Yesterday evening, Nicole was on full minerals and nutritions supported by the machine (to go into the tubing on the neck). There's 3 minerals running, with a drip.
Dr Low Yee, her main surgeon and doctor for this operation, came to see Nicole this morning (just now). The only thing she told me was that Nicole looks good and so does the wound. We just have to pray that the wound won't be affected as she starts pooing more these few days. Dr Low Yee also mentioned that she got to sleep on her side as it will exert pressure on her wound if she sleeps on her back. She have to keep her pampers well-ventilated by not sticking it.
POOR GIRL!
And the worse thing was that the MORPHIN (pain-killer) was removed off her just now. Only panadol at 6hrs interval were to be given to her in which doctors are not that keen into it.
Nicole was more alert than the past 1 day when she kept drifting to sleep due to MORPHIN.
Alright talking about me... I'm nothing but just that I've been staying in the hospital with her since Sunday. 3 Nights liao and it definitely pains my heart looking at her. I couldn't sleep well too as I'm afraid that she'll wake up to see her mummy gone or cry and I don't know.
"TIRING" is all I can say.
Saw a patient in the same ward as Nicole, felt so heartpain for him and his parents. He was like 5 years old? AND I assumed that he had his fingers amputated (cause his fingers are all bandaged and it seemed shorter than normal). However, the paining thing was not that his fingers are injured, but because he had rejection to all his medicine and EVEN FOOD. After every feed, be it food, drinks, or medicine, he will vomit everything out and he had rashes due to the side effect. Hence, it made him have the phobia of having medicine and everytime he was to be fed with medicine, he would cry really loud, saying 'I don't want, Pain, Go away!'... ...
Poor mummy of him, had to endure his tantrum and finally I saw the saddest side of it. Her mummy was angered one day, scolded the boy, throw his bolster on him, grabbed her bag and went off!
It's definitely not the mummy's fault nor is the boy's fault.
They gained my sympathy... REALLY, not easy to be a mummy like that nor is it easy to suffer.
Alright, so that's all now...
